Abstract
A porous medium equivalent method for ice layer is proposed and a layered medium model for ice layer,liquid/waveguide layer/piezoelectric substrate multilayer Love waveguide structure is established.By using partial wave theory and boundary conditions to accurately derive and analyze the different conditions sensing response, the changes of Love wave velocity and acoustic wave attenuation during the icing process is obtained. In order to verify the theoretical analysis,a Love wave device with a 200 MHz 36°LiTaO3/SiO2 waveguide structure is fabricated experimentally, and an experimental system that simulates the environment is constructed to test the developed device. The experimental results show that the working frequency of Love wave and the characteristics of insertion loss transient can be used to accurately monitor the icing state.
