Abstract
In order to improve the computational efficiency of mid-frequency vibro-acoustic coupling analysis,a structure-acoustic coupling method based on Wave Based Method (WBM)-Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) is proposed. This method combines WBM and SEA from the perspective of the wave approach. The sound pressure excitation and velocity boundary condition are applied to the coupling surface respectively and the theoretical calculation formula of the coupling surface parameters is derived. This method is applied to a model of the coupling of a rectangular cavity and a steel plate and the experiment between 100-1000 Hz are applied. The comparison of the WBM-SEA model with the reference FEM-SEA model and the plate acceleration response curve of the experimental model shows that WBM-SEA is in good agreement with the FEM-SEA and experimental results, verifying the effectiveness of the hybrid WBM-SEA.Convergence analysis finds that WBM-SEA has less computational time than FEM-SEA.As a result,it can conclude that hybrid WBM-SEA is effective and more efficient than hybrid FEM-SEA.
