The prediction of bistatic reverberation average strength

  • Establish a model for bistatic reverberation,deduce formulas for computing bistatic reverberation average strength.Considering long-distance interface bistatic reverberation,of which the scattering area is elliptical ring,giving the estimating formula of non-directivity bistatic reverberation strength on the condition of cylinder and sphere sound field.Give the expression of the reverberation level and the ratio of echo-reverberation when the receiver is narrow beam.The simulation shows,elliptical model could be used to predict bistatic reverberation strength and analyze characteristics.It is also convenient for the integration of bistatic sonar system and could be used in project.
