Abstract
A sonoluminescence(SL) imaging method based on ultrasonic cavitation is employed to determine the distributing intensity of ultrasound in liquid. A high-sensitive ICCD imaging system was used to record the SL image resulted from ultrasonic cavitation. The relationship between the SL intensity and ultrasonic intensity was studied. The results show that the SL image can reflect the distribution of ultrasound, accordingly, the SL imaging can be considered a method to measure the intensity of ultrasound dynamically.
