A Wiener weighting algorithm of adaptive time delay estimation in frequency domain

Abstract
A Wiener weighting adaptive time delay estimation algorithm based on frequency domain is presented. It is made up of two steps of frequency domain adaptive filters, the first step is the Wiener weighting to the input signals, and the second one is the adaptive time delay estimation in the frequency domain. In order to improve the performance of the algorithm in the low signal to noise ratio, the algorithm utilizes a combined filter transfer function to weight the phase data before fitting the phase data to estimate the time delay. The simulation results of the real data radiated by the helicopters show the effectiveness of the algorithm.
