The experimental study on the acoustic field generated by a source on the wall of the aluminium tube

Using a thick aluminium tube as a model well, some experimental results for the acoustic field generated by a source on the borehole wall are obtained. Their waveforms at different positions on the wall are analyzed by changing the experiment conditions. There are mode waves of tube thickness, direct wave and circumferential surface waves in the waveforms.
