High precision bearing of ship's stern section based on linear additive array

  • A new high precision method to determine the bearing of ship's stern section by using a linear additive array is proposed. Based on a adaptive arbitrary time-delay linear phase FIR digital filtering algorithm, a simulation experiment of determining the bearing and range of high-frequency noise source at a ship's stern is done. The simulation results show that the method is effective.
