Application of the EM algorithm for the sonar data fusion

Modern warship and submarine are generally equipped with several sonar. It is of great significance for improving positioning accuracy of the sonar system to integrate the bearing measurement information from these sonars by using data fusion. In this paper, BM algorithm is used to fuse the bearing information from these sonars. Results show that this algorithm can achieve a satisfactory accuracy.
