A new method to calculate interior sound field of arbitrary-shaped closed thin shell

  • By using a concept of covering-domain,a common expression about interior scattering sound field of arbitrary-shaped closed thin shell is given in this paper,and the expression of interior sound field of the closed thin shell due to the action of external force can be derived out by using the reciprocity theory.The method in this paper,which can be used to calculate the interior sound field of arbitrary-shaped closed thin shell (equal or unequal thickness),suits a large scope.It is verified to be correct by corresponding test.
