Application of wavelet transform and adaptive noise canceling in ultrasonic closed-crack detection

  • Generally,when crack is closed perfectly under high pressure,the crack scattering echoes are too weak tobe detected easily.In this paper,Wavelet transform noise reduction and adaptive noise canceling methods are used tosuppress noise to enhance signal-to-noise ratio.By doing so3 the closed-Crack is detected more easily.
