Abstract
A new method, the distributed source boundary point method, used to calculate the acoustic radiation caused by vibrating body is discussed in this paper. The evaluation for the DSBPM is carried out on the aspects of its calculating precision, calculating stability, scope of application as well as its feasibility to overcome the non-unique solutions at characteristic frequencies for exterior acoustic radiation through various examples.
