Power flows of three non-conservatively series coupled oscillators part Ⅱ:Numerical analysis

  • In this paper,the direct power flow and the indirect power flow between three non-conservatively series coupled oscillators,subjected to random forces,have been investigated by the numerical method.At the same time,the relationships between the power flow and the parameters of the osciIlator and coupling elements have also been derived.It is showed that the indirect power flow is caused by the resonant transmission between the indirectly coupled oscillators.Once the parameters of the oscillator elements have been settled,the indirect power flow is nlainly determined by the coupling stiffness k3 and k4,and is less influenced by coupling damping c3 and c4.The indirect power flow should not to be ignored in strong coupling collditions;Even if the coupling stiffness is relatively smaller and the coupling damping is relatively greater,the indirect power flow still couldn't be neglected,because of the resonanttranmission between the indirectly coupled oscillators.
