  • A kind of piezoelectric traveling wave rotary ultrasonic motors is studied in this paper. Using finite element method, the vibration modes and resonant frequency of driving stator of the motor are analyzed and calculated; The characteristics of prototype motors are as follow:large torque(0-1.9kgf.cm) with low speed (0-50 r.p.m), auto-lock function with no electric power input, high angle positioning resolution(±0.15°)etc.
