Experimental research on underwater target scattering properties for separated source and receiver

  • Under the situation of separated source and receiver, theoretical analysis and experimental research on acoustic scattering properties of some submarine model are made in this paper. When the configuration of source, target and receiver has complicated triangular relationship, the relationship among target strength, incidence angle and bistatic angle is obtained. The correctness of this theory is verified by theoretical calculation and tank experiment. The research results can be directly used in bistatic or multistatic underwater acoustic detection systems.
