A study of sound absorption characteristic on four forms of pyramidal absorbers

Based on a large mumber of sound absorption experiments of four different types of pyramidal absorbers,we studied and contrasted the sound absorption effected by different forms.Acording to the least square method the empirical formula relating the sound absorption coefficient to frequencies has been derived.Results show that the sound absorption effect of the square-pyramidal absorbers is better than that of the rectangular absorbers
