Improving the Performance of MVDR beamforming:computer simulation

  • This paper concerns the computer simulation of the Performance of a new MVDR beamforming ①and shows that it is possible, only by using an enhancement factor in its weight vector design, to improve bearing resolution not at the expense of signal-to-noise phus interference ratio gain. From the viewpoint of considering signal detection and bearing estimation in a unified way, this beamforming is optimum to array signal processing.
