PRELIMINARIES ON THE RELATION BETWEEN SPEECH INTELLIGIBILITY OF CHINESE AND SPEECH TRANSMISSION INDEX
This paper primarily discusses the relation between the speech inteligibility of Chinese and the speech transmission index (STI), basing on some useful characteristics of the modulation transfer function (MTF) and results obtained from articulation tests under different signal-to-noise ratio.
