INFRARED DIVERGENT RESPONSE OF ULTRASONIC ABSORPTION IN GeO2 AND B2O3 GLASSES

Abstract
On the basis of the theory of the infrared divergent response applied to ultrasonic absorption in glasses,the condition of existing the second,weaker peak of ultrasonic absorption and the weaker peak's response to ultrasonic frequency in GeO2 and B2O3 glasses are studied.The results obtained are in good agreement with the experimental data.
