ANALYSIS OF EFFECTIVE DEPTH OF COMBUSTION CHAMBER'S ACOUSTIC CAVITY USING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD

  • The boundary problem of finite element method in solving the sound vibration of cavities with "open mouth" has been studied. A theoretical formula for calculating the effective depths of acoustic cavities with different shapes of entrys was worked out and the ca1culated depths agree well with the measurements.
