A LOW FREQUENCY COUPLED RESONANT SENSITIVE PHOTOACOUSTIC CELL

Abstract
This paper deseribes the structure and characters of a coupled resonant photoacoustic cell which has a small cell volume and operates at modulating frequency of several hundred Hz. By the adoption of transverse light excitation and differential reception the detection SNR is increased. Its detection sensitivities for concentration of CH3OH and C2H4 have reached 1.2×10-9/W√Hz and 4.2×10-9/W√Hz respectively.
