THE TWO-DIMENSIONAL EQUIVALENT CIRCUIT OF A NOMINAL THICKNESS MODE PIEZOELECTRIC CIRCULAR DISK AND ITS APPLICATION TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE TRANSIENT INDUCED VOLTAGE

  • An approximate two-dimensional equivalent circuit of a nominal thickness mode piezoelectric disk with radial mode coupling is proposed. By means of this equivalent circuit and the FFT technique, the transient induced voltage of a piezoelectric disk is analysed. The influences of the radial electromechanical coupling coefficient, the radius, and the backing and load on the induced voltage are discussed. Some theoretical results are verified experimentally.
