DETERMINATION OF RADIATION RESISTANCE AND RADIATED POWER OF CIRCULAR ARRAY

Abstract
A formula for determining radiation resistance and radiated power of circular array is given. It is proved that for a circular array when spacing of adjacent elements is close to 0.7 wavelength, the radiation resistance of an element is directly proportional to N, that as N increases, increase of radiated power gets slower, finally radiated power reaches a constant value.
