ACOUSTIC VELOCITY MEASUREMENT ON A LIQUID SURFACE TYPE HOLOGRAPHY SET-UP

  • A simple and convenient method is suggested for acoustic velocity measurement by utilizing a liquid-surface type holography set-up. The only requirement is that the object to be measured be made into the form of a wedge, and by observing the interference fringes produced, the acoustic velocity can be calculated.
