Axis symmetrical pure radial and pure shear vibrations were investigated theoretically for disk concentrators, whose thickness varying step-wise, linearly or exponentially with radial distance. Analytical solutions were obtained, and the formulae for resonance frequency, velocity distribution, amplitude ratio and node location derived. Two experimental examples showed good agreement with theory.
