ACOUSTIC SURFACE WAVE AIR-CORE ELECTRODE TRANSDUCER

A new acoustic surface wave interdigital transducer——air-core electrode transduceris presented. The comparison of the air-core electrode transducer with ordinary interdigital transducers （for instance, double electrode transducer and single electrode transducer） is made. The data for designing the air-core electrode transducer is given. Analysis and experimental results prove that this transducer has performances superior to ordinary interdigital transducer. The advantages are: easy to realize a high rate of finished products and higher frequency of operation under same faborication technology and meeting the specified interelectrode reflection.
