Abstract
The technology of underwater acoustic image measurement was a passive positioning method with high precision in near field. To improve the precision of underwater acoustic image measurement, the influence of depth scanning error was analyzed, and the correction method was given. The theoretical analysis shows that for the navigation passing the array, the error could be corrected when the depth to be scanned was deeper than the target sound source depth and this depth could be calculated. Otherwise the error couldn't be corrected. The simulation and experiment data were processed. The result was satisfying and consistent with the theoretical analysis.
