Abstract
A new method is described that measures the dynamic shear modulus of underwater acoustical structure materials in a small anechoic tank by using broadband parametric source, precise coordinate installation and technique of signal processing in the frequency range from 20-100 kHz. The typical size of material sample is 500 x 500 mm2. Basic principles, experiment set-up and measured results areillustrated in this paper.
