Abstract:
The ultrasonic detection and location of a target in liquid-liquid layered media have been achieved using the snapshot time reversal and reverse time migration method. Here, this method is applied to layered media containing solid.Due to the existence of a large number of reflected and scattered waves for layered media containing solid,a screening method is proposed.Firstly, the scattered wave and its wave mode are screened out,and then it can be processed using the snapshot time reversal and reverse time migration method.Experimental researches include three cases of solid-liquid,liquid-solid,and solid-solid layered media. After processing by the snapshot time reversal and reverse time migration method,a peak-like distribution in space is formed. The position of the summit is in agreement with the actual position of the target, and the error is about one wavelength. Therefore, the ultrasonic detection and location of a target in layered media containing solid can be achieved.
