Abstract:
Consonance of Chinese plucking instruments was studied by experiments to explore the symphony of Chinese plunking instruments.Based on the semantic investigation of consonance,acoustic parameters and subjective listening were applied to study the influences of timbre on plucking instruments consonance.The results showed that the consonance of different sounds was influenced by the energy distribution in frequency domain.Attack segment feature, temporal envelope and the energy distribution in time-frequency domain also influenced the consonance of different sound.Based on factor analysis,correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis,the plucking instruments' consonance evaluation method was proposed.
