基于气流调制的封闭空间高声强次声产生方法研究

A high-intensity infrasound generation method based on the modulated air within a closed space

  • 摘要: 基于气流调制技术研究了封闭空间高强度次声产生方法。设计了大流量气流调制器,对调制器和赫尔姆霍兹共振腔组成的高声强次声产生装置的声场特性进行了数值仿真,制作出原理装置,并进行了实验测试。从理论上分析了不同调制频率和不同供气压力下调制器出口的声压幅度,分析了次声产生装置不同调制频率的声压幅度,分析了舱内声场的空间分布特性。实验结果表明:气流调制器设计合理、运行平稳,次声产生装置最大能产生161 dB的次声,测试舱声场均匀、声波信噪比较高,实验结果与数值仿真结果基本一致。

     

    Abstract: A high-intensity infrasound generation method based on the air modulation technology within a closed space is studied in this paper.We designed an airflow modulator with large mass flow rate.The working mechanisms of the high-intensity infrasonic acoustic generator consisting of modulator and Helmholtz resonator were investigated by the numerical simulations,and a prototype device was manufactured in order to carry out some experiments.We calculated theoretically the sound pressure of the modulator vent under different modulator frequencies and different gas supply pressures.Furthermore,the sound intensity of the prototype generator device under different modulator frequencies and the spatial homogeneity of sound field in the test chamber were simulated.The experimental results show that the airflow modulator has stable operation performance and the prototype device can generate continuous infrasound pressure level up to 161 dB in the test chamber.Moreover,the obtained sound field is homogeneous and its signal-to-noise ratio is considerably high within the test chamber.It reveals that the design of the airflow modulator is appropriate,and the experimental results are consistent with that for the numerical simulations.
