利用等离子体声源测量浅海低频段水声信道特性

Measurements of the low-frequency underwater channel features in a littoral environment using a plasma sound source

  • 摘要: 浅海水声信道的结构特征及其变化特性是浅海环境水下远程探测和通讯应用的基础.为了有效测量低频水声信道特性,我们在实验中采用了拖曳等离子体声源和垂直阵接收系统。通过实验测量与信道模型仿真输出的比较,对等离子体声源特性,特别是脉冲波形、空间指向性和电声转换效率,以及在信道中的传播特性等进行测量分析。结果表明:实验测量与信道模型仿真符合良好,实验中采用的等离子体声源的发射源级和拖曳姿态稳定,波形一致性好,可以满足走航式连续水下信道测量要求。

     

    Abstract: In the shallow water environment,the propagation features of the acoustic channel and its variability are important for many littorial applications,such as long-range underwater target detection and communication.In order to measure the low frequency(LF) channel characteristics,a towed plasma sound source(PSS) and a vetical received array were used in our shallow water acoustic experiment,performed in Sept.7,2008.Through the comparision of the measured data with the wideband channel simulation model outputs,based on the KRAKEN Program,we analysised the PSS and channel features,including the source's waveforms,directivities,energe transform efficiency and the channel multipath structure.Experiment results show that the numerial analysis is well comformed of the measurements and the used PSS system is suitable for the continuously mobile underwater channel measurements task,due to its good stability of sourse level,towed posture and consistency of pulse waveforms.
