Abstract:
A laser induced sound transmitting transducer was made and tested.The distance resolution,the sound source level,the beam width,the directivity function and the directivity index of a laser induced sound transducer were calculated.The cause of error was analyzed between the theory value and the experimental value.The maximum detection distances were calculated in the noise background and in the reverberation background.The feasibility to detect the sea bed targets was proved in theory.As a transducer of communication sonar,the information transmission rate,the directivity,the communication distance were calculated.
