Abstract:
Synthetic aperture imaging with squint mode and its advances are presented, and the imaging of broadside and squint mode on sum-delay algorithm is discussed. Effective aperture processing and blind processing for the sum-delay algorithm are described, and a mathematical model for the calculation of effective aperture is suggested. When squint receiving arrays exist, broadside model can not locate effect aperture correctly, and consequently, a degraded image may occur. The suggested model can correctly locate the effect aperture, and the computer simulations and results from lake experiments validate the method.
