Abstract:
In the research of noise problems, researchers frequently use social surveys to measure community response to specific noise sources. However, the lack of standardized international noise annoyance questions and scales makes it impossible to accurately compare community response to noise in different areas in the same or different languages. In 1993, ICBEN Team 6, Community Response to Noise, set the goal of creating high-quality survey questions and standardized international noise annoyance scales. The purpose of this article is to construct the Chinese standardized noise survey questions and noise annoyance scales based primarily on the ICBEN research method.
