基于小波变换的广义相关时延估计算法

The generalized correlation algorithm for estimation of time delay based on Wavelet Transform

  • 摘要: 为了估计两个在空间上分离的传感器所接收信号之间的时间延迟,本文结合小波变换的特点,提出了一个基于小波变换的广义相关时延估计算法并给出了它的时域和频域公式,此算法与直接互相关法相比,能对信号与噪声的假设条件放宽且在低信噪比下能有效估计时延。为了提高时延估计精度,在广义相关时延估计的基础上本文又提出了基于基小波的二次加权法。经仿真证明了这两种算法的有效性。

     

    Abstract: We put forward a special generalized correlation algorithm for estimation of time delay based on Wavelet Transform and give its expressions iii time and frequency domains, respectively, for estimating time difference of the received signals at two spatially separated sensors. This novel algorithm is more efficient, and suitable for more generalized signal and noise conditions, e.g. low signal to noise ratio (SNR), compared with direct correlation method. To improve the time delay estimation accuracy, this paper introduces the re-weighting method with mother wavelets based on the generalized correlation method for estimation of time delay. The two methods are proved to be efficient by the simulations.
