Abstract:
A new type of circular cylindrical non-contact ultrasonic motor is given, which is based on the standing wave and is only supplied by one channel sinusoidal sighal. We designed the stator based on the vibration analyses and fabricated the stator for trial. To measure the vibration mode of the stator, the laser Doppler meter is used when the rotor is rotating steadily. The experiments show that non-contact ultrasonic motor can be driven by one channel signal. In addition, the transient response of the rotor is given by the high——Speed camera.
