基于网格维数的汉语语音分形特征研究

Study on fractal properties of mandarin speech based on gridding dimension

  • 摘要: 应用分形理论来研究汉语语音信号的分形特征。木文首先在传统盘维数基础上提出了一种等差尺度网格维数算法来快速计算语音信号的分维数;在此基础上,对汉语男女声的21种声母和38种韵母语音信号的分维数进行了计算和统计分析,得到了汉语语音分维数的统计分布规律。本文实验结果表明,汉语语音信号具有分形标度不变性,网格维数能够反映语音信号波形的复杂程度。

     

    Abstract: Fractal theoretics were applied to the analysis of fractal properties of Mandarin speech successfully. First, a new algorithm of the Arithmetical Progression Scales Gridding Dimension, based on the conventional Box Dimension, is presented to reduce the computation cost of fractal dimension of speech signals. Second, the distribution rules of fractal dimension of Mandarin speech have been obtained by calculating and statistically analyzing the Gridding Dimension of 21 consonants and 38 vowels of Mandarin speech. The preliminary experimnental results show that Mandarin speech has the scale-invariant property and the Gridding Dimension can indicate the complexity and irregularity degree of waveform of Mandarin speech. The novel discoveries in our studies imply that fractal theoretics have great potentials in the field of speech processing.
