Abstract: There are many reports of linguistic analysis research of the Mongolian language but researches about acoustic analysis are rare. Scientific explanatiolls about the difference between the phonemes of Oirato and inner Mongoian dialects are especially rare.
This paper discusses the acoustic characteristics of Mongoian phonemes and the acoustic differences between the 7 vowels of Oirato and inner Mongolian ill order to realize speech recognition and speech translation of the two languages Results of Formant frequency and Pattern recognition analysis are presented.
