Matched localization of a horizontal array in shallow sea

  • 摘要: 匹配场(MFP)和匹配模(MMP)已经广泛地用于浅海中的被动源定位。本文利用简正波过滤的一种新方法,通过短水平阵实行源定位,并比较了MFP和MMP,结果表明:MMP源定位的分辨率高于MFP,旁瓣较低,计算量大大减小,同时也讨论了水平阵系统的偏差带来的源定位失配问题。
    Abstract: Matched-field processing (MFP) and matched-mode processing (MMP) are passive range and depth source localization technique that have been extensively used in shallow-water environments.This paper presents a new technique of normal-mode filtering and simulated results on source localization of a short horizontal array.The results of MMP are compared to those obtained by conventional MFP.The simulated results indicate that for MMP source location the resolution is higher than that of MFP's and the sidelobe rejection is improved,the expense of the computational time is less.The effects of system mismatching are also given.
