激光热弹激发超声脉冲的特性研究

Study of characteristics of ultrasound pulse thermoelastically generated by a laser pulse

  • 摘要: 由一维的热传导方程和Navier-Stokes方程,对半无限媒质表面受脉宽为t0的矩形激光脉冲激励时所形成的热弹超声应力脉冲作了理论研究。在媒质是强或弱吸收,表面是钳紧或自由的情况下所得到的超声应力脉冲表达式以及对强吸收试样的实验结果,都表明对于自由表面激光脉冲所激发的超声应力脉冲是双极性的,而在钳紧表面时则是单极性的。

     

    Abstract: The one-dimensional thermal conduction equation and Navier-Stokes equation are used to get the pulse stress wave in a semi-infinit medium when a rectangular pulse laser of t0 duration is incident on its surface. For both transparent and opaque samples the ultrasound wave forms are discussed when the surface is free or clamped. Some experimental results on opaque sample are presented. It is shown that,theoretically and expetimentally, the ultrasound pulse thermoelastically generated by a pulse laser is bipolar when the sample surface is free and monopolar when the sample surface is clamped.
