RELATION BETWEEN WAVEGUIDE AND NON-WAVEGUIDE SCATTERING FROM A ROUGH INTERFACE

  • 摘要: 本文给出在小瑞利参数情况下波导中由粗糙交界面所产生的散射波强度I_R=\sum\limits_l, j I_l_j^s(l,j=1,2,3,…),其中Iljs正比于1/4倍第l(或j)号简正波在粗糙交界面上的强度以及散射系数mljsmljs与平面波散射系数ms存在下列关系m_s: m_l j^s=(2 \pi)^2 m_s /\left|V\left(\theta_l\right) V\left(\theta_j\right)\right|:其中V(θl)和V(θlj)

     

    Abstract: The scattering problem of a rough interface in a waveguide under small Rayleigh's parameter approximation is discussed in this paper. The derived scattering intensity can be written in the formI_R=\sum\limits_l, j I_l_j^s(l,j=1,2,3,…). Where Iljs is propo- rtional to mljs which is defined as the normal mode scattering coefficient for the rough interface. A relation has been found between mljs and the plane wave scattering coefficient m_s: m_l j^s=(2 \pi)^2 m_s /\left|V\left(\theta_l\right) V\left(\theta_j\right)\right| in which V(θl) and V(θj) represent the reflection coefficients respectively for incident angles θl and θj.
