Abstract:
This article presentes the conductive type of semiconductor SrTiO
3 crystal determined by Hall coefficient measurement. The SrTiO
3 crystals in our experiments were grown by top-seeding in slowly colded stoichiometric melt other than by Verneuil or flux method. The experimental results are interpreted in terms of the quasi-
F centre model, The color centre is formed by oxygen vacancy during SrTiO
3 crystal growth. The quasi-
F centre defect was also confirmed by the
X-ray photonelectronic spectroscopy.
