Abstract:
Based on the linear piezoelectric coupling equation, the relations between the ultrasonic velocities and elastic moduli are obtained. The velocities of longitudinal and shear waves which propagate along different symmetry directions of α-LiIO3 crystal are determined by the pulse echo overlap method.
