Abstract: The reflection coefficient of linear transition wedges was discussed, the analytical expression under W.K.B. approximation was derived. The approximate expression of the reflection coefficient was simple and convenient for absorber designs.
Sound absorption structure of rib also was analyzed and computed.
The computational results agreed roughly with experimental results.
