Abstract:
In consideration of the fact that amplitude transformer is loaded and not freely resonant, we develop the present amplitude transformer and establish the theory of generalized amplitude transformer. In this case, the amplitude may be amplified not only in the small end face of a bar of varying cross section, but also in the end face of a bar of uniform cross section, and even in the large end face of a bar of varying eross section.
In addition, the theory relates the ratio of amplitude transformation to the impedance matching of load.Consequently, the optimum ratio of amplitude transformation can be obtained in accordance with load.
