摘要: 本文讨论了近年来在地震学中发展的各种形式的面波,其中包括地球上部沉积层中的面波,地壳中的瑞利波和乐甫波,以及地幔中的瑞利波和G波。除此以外,还讨论了可能发生在古登堡的地壳低速层和地幔低速层中的各种导波。给出了计算面波频散关系的方法和它们在解释地壳构造时的应用,特别讨论了这个方法的解答的唯一性问题。Abstract: In this article, theories of several types of surface waves and guided waves developed in recent years in seismology are reviewed. These include the small scaled surface waves in the sedimentary strata, the larger scaled crustal Rayleigh and Love waves and the world circling Mantle Rayleigh waves and G-waves. Different kinds of channel waves occurring in Gutenberg's low-velocity channels are also described. The use of dispersion curves of surface waves in the interpretation of the earth's crustal structure is discussed with particular emphasis on the uniqueness of the solution.
