A transmission protocol for underwater maneuvering target tracking in underwater acoustic networks

摘要: 针对水下机动目标跟踪的传输服务问题, 提出了一种水声网络自主分簇高效传输协议。协议中网络实时感知目标特征, 并结合网络节点状态, 自主建立和更新跟踪簇。簇头节点以汇聚上传过程时延最短为目标, 链路传输需求和逻辑为约束, 建立最优传输模型, 由优化理论分析得到当前状态下的最优传输方案。之后, 簇头节点根据最优方案发起预约, 将多个节点监测到的目标信息进行高效无冲突的汇聚和融合处理。该协议无需时间同步, 可根据实时应用场景和状态自主优化传输策略。经海试验证, 水声网络可对目标实现稳定的随动跟踪, 与已有协议相比, 网络传输效率得到显著提升。Abstract: This paper proposes an autonomous clustering and efficient transmission protocol for underwater maneuvering target tracking applications in underwater acoustic networks. In the protocol, the network can perceive target features in real time and autonomously establish and update tracking clusters based on node status. The cluster head node aims to minimize the transmission delay of the entire process, with the link transmission requirements and logic as constraints, and establishes the optimal transmission model. The optimal transmission scheme under the current state is obtained through analysis of optimization theory. After that, the cluster head node initiates a reservation, and multiple nodes efficiently and conflict-free aggregate the monitored target information to the fusion node. The protocol does not need time synchronization, and can adjust the transmission strategy independently according to the real-time application scenario and state. The sea test proves that the target can be stably tracked and the network transmission efficiency has also been significantly improved.
