Underwater target parameter estimation using temporal symmetric Doppler sensitive signal

摘要: 根据被匀速目标反射后时域对称信号仍保持对称特性及多普勒敏感信号的速度敏感特性, 提出了一种利用时域对称多普勒敏感信号的动目标参数估计方法。首先发射时域对称多普勒敏感信号, 利用信号的速度敏感特性实现动目标回波与混响的分离, 通过频域滤波滤除接收数据的混响; 再将接收数据与其时域翻转后的版本互相关实现动目标回波时延估计; 最后截取包含目标回波的数据构造多个模板滤波进行速度估计。仿真和实验结果表明, 该方法在抑制混响的同时显著提高了参数估计的计算速度。Abstract: Based on the fact that the temporal symmetric signal remains symmetric after being reflected by a uniformly moving target and the velocity sensitivity of the Doppler sensitive signal, a moving target parameter estimation method using the temporal symmetric Doppler sensitive signal is proposed. By transmitting the temporal symmetric Doppler-sensitive signal, the velocity sensitivity of the signal is utilized to separate the moving target echo from reverberation. Frequency-domain filtering is then applied to suppress reverberation in the received data. The filtered received data are then cross-correlated with their time-flipped versions to estimate the time delay of the moving target echo. Finally, the data segment containing the target echo is extracted for velocity estimation using multiple matched filters. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate that this method significantly improves the computational speed of parameter estimation while suppressing reverberation.
