复波数法测试黏弹性细棒杨氏模量

Complex wavenumber method for testing the Young’s modulus of viscoelastic rod

  • 摘要: 针对黏弹性材料复杨氏模量连续宽频测试需求, 为克服共振法只能获得极少数共振频率处结果, 以及直达波提取法分别求解复杨氏模量幅值和辐角计算复杂的问题, 本研究提出了复波数法。通过分析细棒一维纵向振动模型及其位移分布, 推导了复波数法的基本原理, 并利用有限元仿真验证了复波数法的有效性。对于特定的黏弹性试样, 采用复波数法、共振法和直达波提取法处理同一组实验数据, 对比结果表明, 复波数法可以有效地测试连续宽频范围内的复杨氏模量, 在共振频率处与共振法的结果一致, 在宽频范围内与直达波提取法结果一致。

     

    Abstract: This study addresses the demand for the testing of complex Young’s modulus in viscoelastic materials across a continuous wide frequency range. To overcome the limitations that the resonance method only yields results at very few resonant frequencies and the incident wave extraction method involves complicated calculations for separately solving the amplitude and phase angle of the complex Young’s modulus, this study proposes complex wavenumber method. Through the analysis of the one-dimensional longitudinal vibration model of a slender rod, this study derives the principles underlying the complex wavenumber method and validates our approach using a finite element model. For a specific viscoelastic specimen, complex wavenumber method, the resonance method and the incident wave extracting method are used to process the same set of experimental data. Comparative results indicate that the complex wavenumber method effectively measures complex Young’s modulus across a continuous wide frequency range, with findings at resonance frequencies aligning with those obtained via the resonance method and agreeing well with the incident wave extraction method across the broadband frequency range.
