Abstract: The visual and auditory masking variations are discussed when visual and auditory stimulus are perceived simultaneously.The visual-auditory interaction conditions are labeled using the attention conditions.Then the change of masking threshold is to be tested and measured.The interaction between visual and auditory masking is discussed. It is found that the masking thresholds would be changed in the visual-auditory interaction condition compared to the visual or auditory tasks only.Based on the study,it could be concluded that the visual and auditory masking effect would be influenced by attention variation in visual-auditory interaction.The aroused attention would be interfered by interaction between visual and auditory masking stimulus.
